Our terrariums are handcrafted by us with resources that are either homegrown, propagated, or foraged from our own backyards! (with the occasional need to purchase rocks and other hardware not foraged) Each terrarium takes anywhere from 1 to 5 hours to create depending on the size and setup. All of the glass used is recycled and repurposed to help cut down on our waste. Closed terrariums cannot be guaranteed to be 100% critter free, however the critters inside them are beneficial to the self-sustaining ecosystems.
Not seeing a style, shape. size, theme you like? Hit us up, we are always willing to work with the customer to make something you will love! There are options for open or closed terrariums available, and you can always purchase a closed one and choose to take the lid off when you please.
-Misting/watering is only necessary if the soil and moss becomes noticeably dry
-Place terrarium in an area where it will receive adequate light, but not direct sunlight for longer than an hour or two.
-Turn terrarium regularly to ensure the plants get light on all sides
-Open the terrarium up for about 30 minutes at least once a month to allow air flow.
-Get creative! You could add critters, figurines, your own plants or moss, whatever your heart desires to spruce up and personalize your little ecosystem!
